We seek a strategic and dynamic General Manager to lead and grow our full-service studio and creative agency, specializing in next-generation platforms like Roblox. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding Supersocial’s profitability, driving new business and revenue, and ensuring sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will blend operational excellence with innovative growth strategies, fostering a dynamic environment that supports our mission to deliver cutting-edge creative solutions to the world’s greatest brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business and Revenue
- Growth Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities within next-gen platforms and emerging digital environments.
- Business Development:
- Lead efforts to secure new clients and partnerships, enhancing our portfolio and market reach.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals that contribute to the company’s revenue targets.
- Marketing & Brand Expansion:
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies across various channels.
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and refine the sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support the sales team, guiding to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Grow Sustainably
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and refine the company’s long-term strategic direction.
- Develop a strategic roadmap outlining steps for sustainable business expansion and market penetration.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives to build a high-performing team.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels.
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys or meetings with key clients, aiming for a 90%+ satisfaction rate.
- Innovation & Trend Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform growth initiatives.
- Champion innovative approaches to capture new markets and enhance service delivery.
- Sustainable Practices:
- Implement sustainable business practices that support long-term growth and environmental responsibility.
- Ensure that growth initiatives align with the company’s values and mission.
- Maintain and Expand Profitability
- Financial Management:
- Partner with the CFO to ensure effective budgeting, precise forecasting, and prudent financial planning to ensure fiscal health and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or creativity.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline operations across all departments to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies.
- Implement and refine operational policies and procedures to support scalable growth.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential financial and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
